UNITY CURRENTLY RECEIVING REQUESTS FROM USERS WHO WANT TO FEEDBACK ON UNITY DOCUMENTATION MORE CONVENIENTLY. THEREFORE UNITY DID AN EXPERIMENT TO FIND OUT THE WAY IT COULD WORK.
To acquire a concept of what type of feedback unity will get through the community, Unity enabled a “Suggest a Change” feature on the documentation site, right on the page you would like to discuss. The feature was allowed for the entire month of August as well as appeared like this:
Unity got approximately. five hundred recommendations that way. All were the most frequent topics:
- C# examples and conversion errors (~30%)
- Suggestions, spelling corrections and open-ended queries on how to improve the docs (~30%)
- Reports of missing links
- Feature requests
- Spam (~10%)
