EditorVR Contest Now Open for Submissions

 editorvr unity gdc

At GDC, Unity launched a competition in order to find the best tool designed for EditorVR, and submissions are currently open!

Unity is seeking the absolute most practical tool for VR developers, and the best demo of invention, testing, and imagination — and unity will allow it to be worthwhile. The winner will get $10,000 — and in case you are going to experience Summit 2017, unity will let you have lunch with Tony Parisi, Head of VR/AR approach at Unity, and also the EditorVR team!

    •  To go into, all you need to do is the following:
      • Post your tool/project on Github. (It is possible to check out Unity’s EditorVR forum to talk about and learn with the EditorVR community)
    •
      • Post a quick video, explaining your project using any design you like, on your Unity Connect page (you will need to generate one on your own if you don’t get one yet). Also, make sure and tag the project with #EditorVR-Contest.
    •
      • Submit an email to madewithunity@unity3d.com with the subject line “EditorVR Contest” you need to include the following: a) your name b) the link to your tool on Github c) the link to your Unity Connect page with the video. (Be sure you receive verification from us that we’ve accepted your submission!)

The deadline for submission is Thursday, April 27 at midnight. Winners will likely be announced at Vision Summit 2017 on Monday, May 1. For full EditorVR Contest information, be sure to see the complete rules here. We look ahead to seeing everything you create!
